Buy security fencing direct — steel spear top panels, posts and brackets in 1.8m and 2.1m, priced and ready to order below. In stock in Brisbane, delivered across Queensland and interstate on request.
Order it two ways. Buy security fence panels, posts and brackets individually if you know your counts, or take a complete 100m, 200m or 300m run with every panel, post and bracket included — one delivery, nothing missing on site. Panels are 2400mm wide, and the post count is always the panel count plus one, because every run needs a post at both ends.
You will also see this fence sold as garrison fencing, tubular fencing or spear top fencing. Same product, same page.
Choose by height
What you are buying
2400mm wide panels with 115mm picket gaps, galvanised and then powder coated black. The 1.8m panels take a 2.4m post; the 2.1m panels take a 2.7m post in 65 × 65mm or 75 × 75mm. Brackets come as single lug, double lug and side fit lug for corners and wall returns.
At 2.1m this is the standard high security fencing for yards, depots, substations and site perimeters, and the 115mm picket gap sits under the 125mm climbable-gap threshold that school, council and utility specifications look for. If your specification calls for a certified no-foothold barrier, that is 358 mesh and we do not stock it — send us the spec and we will tell you straight.
Trade supply, direct from stock
We supply security fencing panels to fencing contractors, builders, facility managers and councils, with trade pricing on volume. Send us a boundary length or a site sketch and we will come back with a parts list you can check and a delivered price.
Frequently asked questions
Is garrison fencing the same as tubular fencing?
Yes. They are two names for the same steel spear top fence. Garrison is the trade name, taken from the military-style spear top; tubular describes the hollow steel sections it is made from. You will also see it called steel picket fencing. All three refer to the panels in this range.
What counts as high security fencing?
There is no single standard, so it depends on what your specification means by it. In commercial and council use, high security fencing usually means a 2.1m or taller steel perimeter with a spear top and picket gaps too narrow to take a foot. Our 2.1m security fencing panels meet that description: 115mm gaps, which sits under the 125mm climbable-gap threshold that school, council and utility specifications commonly call for, on a 2.7m post. If your specification instead means a certified no-foothold or anti-climb barrier, that is 358 mesh, which is a different product and one we do not stock. Send us the specification and we will tell you straight whether this fence meets it.
What heights do your security fencing panels come in?
1.8m and 2.1m, both 2400mm wide. The 1.8m suits schools, sports grounds and residential boundaries and takes a 2.4m post. The 2.1m is the commercial height for yards, depots and site perimeters and takes a 2.7m post.
Is security fencing anti-climb?
It is a strong climb deterrent rather than a true anti-climb fence. The spear top is a genuine deterrent and the 115mm picket gaps are too narrow to get a foot into, but the 40 x 40mm horizontal rails do give a foothold. A fence with no foothold at all is 358 or prison mesh, which is a different product that we do not stock. If your specification calls for 358 mesh, tell us and we will say so rather than supply the wrong fence.
What finish are the panels?
Galvanised, then powder coated black. That is the standard commercial finish and it is what gives the corrosion resistance outdoors. Of the fittings, the side fit lug bracket is hot-dip galvanised steel.
How many panels do I need, and do you supply trade?
Panels are 2400mm wide, so 100 metres is 41 panels and 42 posts, because a run needs a post at both ends. Our complete runs include every panel, post and bracket set for 100m, 200m or 300m. We supply fencing contractors, builders, facility managers and councils direct, with trade pricing on volume.
